Established in 1797, the Cashtown Inn quickly gained significance as a popular stop for travelers in south-central Pennsylvania. Situated just eight miles west of Gettysburg along the Chambersburg Turnpike, the inn served as a crucial field headquarters for notable Confederate Commanders such as A. P. Hill and Henry “Harry” Heth during the Gettysburg Campaign in the summer of 1863. Additionally, like many other rural structures in the area, the Cashtown Inn was utilized as a field hospital during and after the Battle of Gettysburg.
Each piece is handcrafted in the USA from basswood and balsa, featuring Tichy windows and doors, and is available as a 1:87 scale (HO scale) replica. For purchasing details, please click the button below to email us.
